Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026):
- Flying Branch: 20–24 years (02 July 2002 – 01 July 2006)
- Up to 26 years for CPL holders.
- Ground Duty (Tech/Non-Tech): 20–26 years (02 July 2000 – 01 July 2006)
Educational Qualifications:
Flying Branch:
- 10+2 with 50% in Physics and Math.
- Graduation (any discipline) with 60% OR BE/BTech with 60%.
Ground Duty (Technical):
- AE(L) / AE(M): 10+2 with 50% in Physics and Math + 4-year Engineering degree OR AMIE sections A & B with 60%.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical):
- WS Branch: Same as Flying eligibility.
- Admin/Logistics: Graduation in any discipline with 60%.
- Accounts: B.Com or Finance-related degree with 60%.
- Education: PG with 50% + Graduation with 60%.
- Meteorology: B.Sc. (with Physics and Maths) OR Engineering degree with 60%.

Salary & Perks in Indian Air Force:
- Pay on Commissioning (Flying Officer): ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (Level 10)
- Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500
- Stipend During Training: ₹56,100/month
