The Central Bank of India has released a major notification for the engagement of 4500 apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the financial year 2025-26.  Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

Candidates must be Indian citizens or meet the eligibility criteria set by the Government of India (e.g., PIOs, Tibetan refugees, etc.).

 Educational Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Must have completed graduation on or after January 1, 2021
• Mandatory registration on the NATS portal (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme).

Age Limit (as on May 31, 2025):

• Minimum Age : 20 years
• Maximum Age : 28 years
• Candidates should be born between May 31, 1997 – May 31, 2005

Age Relaxation (as per govt. rules):

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwBD: Up to 15 years depending on category
• Widows/Divorced women: Up to 40 years
